Perfect Heat is what separates part 98830 from the plain Pro 500. Tornado builds a 1,700 watt heater into this version of its upright recycling extractor, and the rest of the machine, 13 gallons of solution, 13 of recovery and 500 p.s.i., matches the unheated one.
Heat earns its place on restorative work and on greasy or heavily trafficked carpet, where warm solution shortens the dwell a cold one needs. It costs a second cord: this build draws through two 25 ft cords rather than one, so check that the circuits at your accounts can carry both before committing to the heated version.
The recycling circuit filters recovered water back to the solution side instead of dumping it, which is what lets a 13 gallon upright cover ground a single-pass machine of the same size could not. A front-mounted pressure gauge and adjustment knob keep the pump setting in view during a pass, the tank hinges open for filter access, and a front drain hose empties the machine without lifting it.
This SKU is the unit alone at 128 lbs, with a 33 ft Insider hose and 12 in. rear wheels.
