This genuine bottom plate is the lower housing panel of the Turbocat T210 air-driven powerhead (Part #7215). It encloses the underside of the nozzle, holds the brushroll and turbine in proper alignment, and shapes the airflow channel that drives the turbine.
A cracked, warped, or worn bottom plate can throw off brushroll height, create air leaks that reduce turbine speed, and allow rattling. Replacing it restores the correct seal and geometry so the powerhead grooms carpet efficiently and quietly.
