The TurboZoom nozzle in this 35 foot low-voltage kit works the same way as other air-driven turbo nozzles: vacuum suction spins the brush roll, so there is no motor or cord built into the nozzle itself. It ships under SKU 11207LGZ.
A rotating brush roll driven purely by airflow agitates carpet pile to release dirt and pet hair that a plain suction nozzle would leave behind. Because the nozzle has no power source of its own, how well it cleans depends on how much suction the central vacuum delivers to that particular inlet, which in turn depends on the condition of the hose, canister, and pipe run leading up to it.
The 35 foot hose covers most rooms from a single wall inlet without needing to switch inlets partway through a cleaning session. If the brush roll turns sluggishly, check the hose and inlet for a clog before assuming the nozzle has worn out, since restricted airflow anywhere upstream shows up as weak agitation at the nozzle rather than as a change in the nozzle's own mechanism.
