Part B433-0300 pairs a white lead wire with a built-in Hall sensor for ultra-lightweight upright vacuums. Wire and sensor come as one unit here, ready to drop in place of the original harness rather than as a bare length of wire you would need to splice a sensor into.
Without touching the brushroll itself, a Hall sensor detects whether it is turning, and the control board relies on that reading to know the agitator's actual state. Chafed insulation, a connector that has backed partway out, or a sensor that has simply failed can all make the machine misjudge brushroll status even while the motor keeps running as expected.

Not every ultra-lightweight machine comes equipped with a Hall sensor, so verify yours does before ordering rather than assuming it from the model family.
