This 30-foot hose is built to the 1-3/8 inch central vacuum fitting, with a friction-fit handle end and a banded cuff at the wall. The 1-3/8 inch cuff, roughly 35 mm, is a different fitting from the more common 1-1/4 inch, 32 mm size, and the two are not interchangeable, so check your inlet and wands before ordering.
Friction-fit means wands and floor tools slide on and off without a latch to press or release, which is the right match if your existing attachments were built for a slip-fit connection. Forcing a friction-fit hose onto tools designed for a button-lock latch, or the other way around, will not seat properly at the handle, and can crack the plastic collar on either piece.
