Upper cord hook base for PV and MV series Riccar uprights, part number B384-0800. The base is the molded mount fixed to the machine body that the upper hook seats on. Once it cracks, the hook sits loose and the power cord will no longer stay wrapped where you put it.
Named coverage runs across the Brilliance and Radiance ranges:
- Brilliance 4 and 6 in Standard, Deluxe and Premium trim
- Brilliance 6 USA and Brilliance Retriever
- Radiance 4, 6, 6+, 8 and 10
- RadianceP 2 and RadianceP 4
Fitting the base on its own is the cheaper repair whenever the rest of the upper handle is still sound, and it takes far less time than swapping a complete handle assembly.
