Part B384-0800 is the upper cord hook base for Riccar Brilliance and Radiance uprights, the moulded piece bolted to the machine that the hook itself clips onto. It is not the hook, so a cracked hook and a cracked base call for two different fixes.
Once this base cracks, the hook has nothing solid to hold onto no matter how good the hook still is, and the cord stops staying wrapped where you left it. Replacing the base alone is the cheaper route whenever the rest of the upper handle checks out fine otherwise.

Before ordering just the base, make sure the hook still snaps in without play, since a worn hook can look a lot like a cracked base from arm's length, and fixing the wrong one still leaves the cord flopping loose.
