The VacuFlo 5005 is a central vacuum inlet mounting plate that anchors a wall valve into the rough-in opening and provides the bracket the inlet fastens to. It is designed to be used together with the VacuFlo 7046W 90-degree short adapter elbow, which connects the plate to the in-wall tubing in tight stud cavities where a full-radius fitting will not fit.

Mounting the 5005 plate during rough-in establishes a solid, square base for the finished inlet valve and keeps the outlet flush and properly aligned with the wall. Paired with the 7046W elbow, it makes a clean inlet termination possible even in shallow or congested wall spaces.
