This Vaculine ES inlet valve mounting plate includes an integrated plaster guard, the protective cap that keeps drywall mud, plaster, and construction debris out of the inlet opening during the build phase. After the wall is finished and painted, the guard is removed and the Vaculine ES inlet valve mounts cleanly to the plate face.

Molded in white plastic, the plate sets the tubing drop during rough-in and provides a rigid, square anchor for the finished ES inlet valve and trim. The plaster guard saves installers from clogged or fouled inlets on new construction and remodels, where wet plaster and dust would otherwise contaminate the valve seat.
