Unlike a fuse, a mechanical breaker simply resets by pressing the button back in once the fault clears, so repeated nuisance trips don't mean a trip to the store. If your VacuMaid system keeps shutting off under load or won't power up at all, a worn or tripped breaker is a common and inexpensive point of failure to check first.
