This genuine VacuMaid 120V transformer with mounting bracket (Part #P1259A2) supplies the low-voltage power that drives the control circuit of your central vacuum system. The transformer steps the 120-volt line down to the low voltage used to signal the power unit when a hose is connected at a wall inlet, making it an essential component for reliable start/stop operation.
If your VacuMaid system has stopped responding to the inlets even though the motor itself is fine, a dead transformer is a frequent and easily overlooked cause. The included mounting bracket makes installation straightforward.
