Product details

This is the VacuMaid metal inlet door gasket (Part #DG125), the square sealing gasket that mounts on the inside of a VacuMaid metal central vacuum inlet door. When the spring-loaded door closes, this gasket presses against the valve face to create an airtight seal, preventing air leaks that rob the system of suction and keeping dust and debris from escaping the inlet.

The gasket is a square cut profile and comes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, so it bonds directly to the inside of the metal door without glue or fasteners. Over time the original gasket can harden, compress, or tear, causing a noticeable drop in vacuum performance at that wall inlet. Replacing it restores the proper seal.
