The VacuMaid P12512B is a replacement dirt can gasket that seals the canister to the power-unit housing on VacuMaid central vacuums built around 12"-diameter cans. A fresh, properly seated gasket is essential to maintaining the airtight seal that gives a central vacuum its suction.

Over time the original gasket can dry out, compress, or tear, causing air leaks and noticeable loss of cleaning power. Replacing it with Part #P12512B restores a tight seal between the dirt can and the motor housing, keeping airflow strong and preventing dust from escaping at the seam.
