    The VacuMaid SR545 is the crown cover that mounts to the bottom of the machine on the top-fill SR800 central vacuum unit. This molded cover caps the lower portion of the power unit, protecting internal components and giving the bottom of the SR800 its finished, sealed enclosure.

    Because the SR800 is a top-fill design, debris collects in the upper canister and the crown cover seals the base of the unit. A cracked or missing crown cover can expose internal parts and disrupt the unit's airflow path, so a sound cover keeps the system enclosed and running correctly.
