The VacuMaid SR547 is a genuine replacement bottom can / dirt bucket finished in slate grey to match VacuMaid's larger-capacity central vacuum power units. It is the 14-1/2 can family in the 16-inch tall size, fitting the SR60 and similar models.
The bottom can is the lower collection vessel that clamps to the unit's motor head and stores vacuumed dirt and debris between emptyings. Its taller profile gives the SR60 series extra debris capacity, so you empty less often. A sound, leak-free can is essential for the system to hold suction.
