The VacuMaid stainless steel standard central vacuum inlet valve (Part #WS-619J) is a wall valve with a brushed stainless faceplate and a spring-loaded door, designed for low-voltage central vacuum systems. Instead of an automatic microswitch, this valve uses low-voltage pin jacks: metal contact pins inside the inlet that complete the low-voltage circuit when a switched hose end is inserted, starting and stopping the power unit from the handle.

The stainless finish resists corrosion and fingerprints and gives a clean, modern look that suits kitchens, mudrooms, and high-traffic walls. The door seals the inlet against air leaks and dust when the hose is not connected, preserving suction across the rest of the system.
