This VacuMaid white metal central vacuum inlet valve (Part #WW-832X) features a white metal faceplate, a built-in microswitch, and a larger 1-1/2" hose opening with a single-pin low-voltage contact. The microswitch automatically starts the central vacuum power unit when the hose is inserted, while the single pin provides low-voltage signaling for compatible systems.

The 1-1/2" inlet hole makes this valve suited to systems and rough-ins that use the larger opening rather than the standard 1-1/4" size, so it is important to match the existing wall opening when replacing a valve.
