White door for Hide-A-Hose HS5000 series inlet valves, ordered as HS5000W-D. White is the common trim color, which also makes it the one most often replaced: a chipped or yellowed door stands out against a painted wall in a way an almond or black one never does.

The door does a job as well as sitting there looking tidy. It closes the inlet when the hose is out, and every unused inlet in a central vacuum has to be shut for the system to develop full suction. A snapped hinge or a catch that no longer holds turns that inlet into an air leak, and the loss shows up as weak pull at whichever inlet you happen to be working from.

Take the number off your existing door or valve trim before ordering. The HS5000 door is not the same as the HS4000 door, and the two are easy to confuse at a glance.
