The Vex rectangular inlet valve in almond is the wall-mounted port where you connect the central vacuum hose to begin cleaning. The hinged spring-loaded door seals the suction line when not in use and opens to engage the hose handle, completing the electrical and airflow connection in a single motion on systems wired for low-voltage hose control.

Finished in a warm almond tone to blend with traditional wall colors and trim, this rectangular-profile valve fits standard rectangular inlet rough-in mounting plates. The Plastiflex reference is SV8030. Durable molded housing and a positive-closing door make it a long-lived replacement for cracked, faded, or non-sealing inlets, restoring full suction at the wall.
