Telescopic electric wand for the Vapamore MR-500 Vento canister, part 500ELECTRICWAND, sold individually. It adjusts through its length and carries both the airflow and the electrical feed the power nozzle needs.
Wands take the falls. Once the tube is dented or the telescoping lock has worn, it will not hold the height you set and it leaks air at the joint, so the nozzle sees less pull than it should. The electric version has a second failure mode all its own: the contacts running through the wand lose continuity, and the brush roll then cuts in and out while suction stays perfectly normal.
If your brush stops and starts and the nozzle itself checks out, suspect the wand. Confirm the MR-500 Vento before ordering, as the non-electric wand looks similar but carries no contacts.
