These replacement brush strips fit the Windsor Versamatic 14-inch commercial upright vacuum. The strips slide into the channels of the brush roll and provide the actual bristle contact that scrubs carpet pile, dislodging embedded soil so the machine's airflow can lift it away.
In commercial use the bristles flatten and round off quickly, and once they wear down the Versamatic stops grooming carpet effectively and the brush roll runs unevenly. Renewing the strips (Part #681) is a quick, economical way to restore full agitation without replacing the entire roll core.
