Part 40201180 is a two-pack of flat belts for the power nozzle on Hoover WindTunnel canisters, the belt Hoover also numbers 38528036. It fits the nozzles used on the S3630, S3639, S3646, S3649, S3670 and S3755 canisters, and on the C1800, C1805, C1810, C1815 and C1820 machines as well as the CH50015.

A power nozzle belt has a harder life than an upright's. It is driven by a small motor in a shallow housing, and hair worked into the ends of the brush roll puts constant drag on it. When it goes, the nozzle glides over carpet instead of digging into it, and the pile stops standing up behind you.

Clear the hair out of the brush roll bearings while the belt is off. A new belt on a binding roller will stretch again within weeks.
