Wire Harness - Power Nozzle...

Product details
The power nozzle on a Pullman-Holt UV-5 gets its power and switching down a wire harness, and part B230402 is that loom. It takes the flexing every time the wand articulates and the nozzle swivels.
Harnesses fail at the movement points, not in the middle. Conductors break inside intact-looking insulation where the cable bends at the neck, and the fault behaves accordingly: the brush motor cuts out when the wand is turned a certain way, comes back when you jiggle it, or stops responding to the switch altogether while suction from the main motor carries on normally. Intermittent behaviour that follows the position of the wand is the giveaway.
A new harness replaces the tired wiring in one piece. It is the repair that saves a nozzle motor from being condemned for a cable fault.
