Wire inlet seal for MV series machines, part number B480-6300. It closes the point where wiring passes into the housing, so air is not drawn through an unintended gap and the loom is not left chafing against a bare plastic edge.
This is a small service item that is easy to overlook and easy to nick during a teardown. If the machine is already open for a motor, switch or harness job, fitting a fresh inlet seal on reassembly costs very little and saves stripping the same panel a second time later on.
