Product details

This is the wire inlet seal for Riccar MV series vacuums, part B480-6300, a small grommet rather than a switch or connector. It closes the gap where internal wiring passes through the housing wall, keeping the harness from rubbing on bare plastic and keeping an unintended air path from opening at that same point.

A seal this size is easy to overlook during a teardown and just as easy to nick while a panel is being pulled apart. Since a motor, switch or harness repair already means the housing is open, swapping in a fresh seal at reassembly time adds almost no extra work now and avoids having to open that same panel again once the old seal eventually splits.
