This grey hose cuff is designed specifically for 1-1/4" wire-reinforced vacuum hose, a different style from standard crushproof hose. Wire-reinforced hose uses an embedded metal helix, and this cuff is shaped to grip that construction securely, threading onto the cut end to form a tight, airtight connection.

Use it to replace a damaged or worn end fitting on a central vacuum or shop vacuum hose, restoring full suction without the cost of an entirely new hose. The 1-1/4" diameter is the standard size for most central vacuum systems, and the neutral grey finish suits common hose colors.
