SEBO AIRBELT Textile for AIRBELT E1, E2 and E3 — Gray Black, Solid

Unpatterned gray black from end to end, 8221AM01 is the woven AIRBELT covering supplied for SEBO's E canisters, and the number to quote when the machine is finished in plain gray black. It is listed for the AIRBELT E1 KOMBI, the AIRBELT E2 TURBO and the AIRBELT E3 Premium alike, which makes it the broadest fitment in the E textile range.

The AIRBELT is the padded band wrapped around the front of the canister, and it is the part of the machine that meets chair legs, skirting and door frames every time the body is towed into another room. The fabric over it soaks up those impacts for years before the weave finally opens at the corners, where contact concentrates, or the covering loosens off the band beneath and starts riding up. Renewing it returns the cushioning to the front of the machine and cleans up the most visible surface on it in the same ten minutes. The padded bumper the textile stretches over is a separate item, 8237ER, listed for the same three canisters.

Reading the number

SEBO encodes the finish in the last two digits of its AIRBELT textile numbers: 01 is the plain gray black seen here, 07 is the oval pattern and 10 is the black and silver stripe. The prefix in front of those digits is what pins the number to a machine family, and 8221AM is the E series prefix. Other SEBO parts drawings carry the identical finish codes under a 6047AM prefix instead — 6047AM01, 6047AM07, 6047AM10 — and those belong to other diagrams entirely. Matching the finish code but taking the wrong prefix is the classic wrong order in this family, so check both halves of the number.
