Product details
Double action brush roll for the Bissell CleanView bagless uprights, part 1611231. Its bristles are set in blue, yellow and white tufts at differing heights, which is what the double action refers to: the taller rows reach down into pile while the shorter ones sweep the surface.
Replace it when the tufts have splayed outward, when the roller leaves lint behind on a second pass, or when hair has packed hard against an end cap and the roller no longer spins freely with the belt off. A roller that stops turning under load will burn through a belt in short order too.
It fits the CleanView 1813, 1817, 1822, 1831, 1831K, 1831R, 1834 and 1837, along with the 2488, 2489, 24899, 2490 and 2491.
