When a Bissell upright stops picking up along carpet and the brush roll turns slowly or not at all, the drive belt has usually stretched or snapped. Part 32074 is a two-pack of Bissell style 7, 9, 10, 12 and 14 drive belts, the grooved belts used across the CleanView, PowerGlide and PowerGroom Helix ranges.
Fitment runs across a wide spread of Bissell uprights, among them the 1240, 12B1, 1813, 1819, 1820, 1823 and 1825, the 20Q9 and 21K3, the 2252 to 2260 CleanView run, the 2316, 2410, 2488, 2489, 2490 and 2491, the 26T5, 3197A, 3198, 3545 and 3574.
Belts wear invisibly. If yours is glazed, shiny on the inside face, or noticeably looser than a fresh one held beside it, it is past due even if it has not broken. Two in the pack means the next change is already in the drawer.
