The HEPA filter for the Bissell 3059 Pet Lift-Off and its siblings, part 1625642. It handles the final stage of filtration, trapping the fine dust and dander that gets through the earlier stages so it is not blown back into the room.
On a machine bought for pet hair, this filter earns its keep and loads faster than most. Dander is fine enough to bed deep into the pleats, and once they are packed the filter restricts airflow rather than cleaning it: suction fades, the motor note climbs, and the exhaust picks up a stale smell. Washing a pleated HEPA element does not bring it back.
This one fits the Bissell 2852, 2998 and 3059. Change it every six to twelve months in a pet household. It is not the same filter as the one fitted to the 3057, so check your model number before ordering.
