Part 0154439 is the top lid assembly for the Bissell ProHeat water tank, catalogued for the 1697 and 1698. It is not just the plastic cap: the assembly comes with the carry handle, the lid itself, the water screen that filters the solution, and the gasket that seals it to the tank.
Lids are the part of a deep cleaner that gets dropped. A cracked lid or a gasket that has taken a set will let solution weep down the side of the machine while you clean, and a torn water screen sends grit straight toward the pump.
