This genuine OEM Bissell tank latch ships as a 2-pack for the 47A2 steam vacuum and fits Bissell 17N4, 17N45, 17N4P, 17N4V, 36Z9, 47A2, 47A22, 47A2T, 80R4, plus 17N42, 17N43, 17N49, 17N4C, 36Z93, 36Z98, 47A24, 47A26, 47A2R, and the 47A2 color variants. The latch secures the solution or recovery tank to the machine body.
A cracked or worn latch loses its grip, so the tank sits loose, seals poorly, and can leak or pop free during cleaning. Replacing both latches with the correct factory parts restores a firm hold and a proper seal against the tank gasket.
