Part B283-1200 is the crevice tool supplied with the Fuller Brush EZ Maid upright and the Titan T3200. The same tool fits the Carpet Pro CPU250 and CPU350 and the Simplicity and Riccar S20EZM.
Its shape is the whole point: the taper squeezes the airstream into a thin slot, so all the machine's pull is concentrated where the nozzle cannot go. Along carpet edges, down the sides of a mattress, into the folds of a car seat, around the base of a toilet. Those places hold more than people expect, and they are the first thing a service tech checks when someone says the vacuum is not picking up.
If the original snapped at the neck or vanished behind the sofa, this puts the machine's detail cleaning back. It stores on board with the rest of the tools.
