This full bag indicator assembly, part C283-2000, fits the Titan T3200, the Riccar S20EZM, the Simplicity S20EZM, the Fuller Brush FBEZM, and the Carpet Pro CPU250. It reads airflow restriction and warns before the bag reaches capacity, rather than after.
An overfilled bag is hard on the whole machine: it restricts airflow, cuts into suction, and makes the motor work against resistance it was not designed for. Catching that point early, before the bag is packed solid, is the entire purpose of the indicator, and it is worth checking whenever the machine seems to lose pickup for no obvious reason.
If the indicator stops moving or always reads full, fit a fresh bag and clear the airway first, then judge the indicator on how it behaves afterward, since one stuck in a single position is telling you about itself rather than about the bag.
