Part D431-3014 is the lower handle for the Fuller Brush Spiffy Maid FB-SM, moulded together with the upper fan housing, so the structural piece you push against and part of the airway arrive as one component. It also fits the Carpet Pro CP-ULW and ZM-400 and the Riccar and Simplicity R10E.
That combination is why a crack here costs you twice. Structurally the handle goes loose and the machine wanders instead of tracking where you push it. On the air side, a split in the housing lets air leak in behind the nozzle, and suction at the carpet drops off even though the motor sounds exactly as it always has.
Replacing the piece puts both right at once. Transfer the cord routing and any switch hardware from the old handle as you go.
