Riccar / Simplicity R10E Upright Bag Assembly

Part D211-6300 is the bag assembly Riccar and Simplicity list for the R10E lightweight upright.

A bag assembly is a wear item in its own right, and it is easy to blame the disposable bag for a problem the assembly is causing. Once it has split, stretched, or lost its shape, air finds a path that does not go through the bag, and the machine picks up worse right after a fresh bag has gone in rather than better. Dust settling in or around the bag compartment where there was none before points the same way.

• Replace when: the assembly is torn, deformed, or no longer holds a bag securely
• Check first: that the disposable bag itself is seated correctly and is not overfull

Before replacing anything, fit a fresh disposable bag and check that it is seated properly on its mount. If suction comes back, the bag was the whole problem. If it stays weak with the filters clean and nothing blocking the airway, the assembly is the next thing to look at.
