White-bodied AUTOMATIC X4, X4 Boost and X5 uprights take 5702WE at the foot of the bag housing. SEBO lists it as item 47 on the AUTOMATIC X4/X5 sheet, sitting between the locking rod 5083 at position 46 and the complete bag housing at position 48.

A white moulding shows its years more plainly than a dark one. The colour goes off first, the material stiffens next, and eventually it splits where it has taken the most hits, at which point the bumper is cushioning nothing. Renewing it guards the shell underneath and visibly freshens the front of the vacuum. There is nothing to adjust afterwards, since the strip locates on its own tabs and the housing does the aligning. White also makes damage obvious early, which is a small advantage: the strip is usually changed before the shell behind it has taken any punishment.
