SEBO Bag Holder Safety Catc...

Product details
Tucked behind the bag holder on a SEBO AUTOMATIC X upright, and on the ESSENTIAL G1 and G2, is a small secondary catch, and its entire reason for being there is to keep the holder from letting go at a moment nobody chose. Part 5360 is that catch.
Being a backup is precisely why a broken one can go unnoticed for a year. Nothing changes in daily use, because the primary retention is still doing the work; the catch only matters on the day the holder takes a knock or the machine is set down hard, and at that point either it is present or the bag drops off its seat part-way through a clean and puts some of what it was holding back into the compartment. The part is worth a deliberate look every time the compartment is open — check that it is present, that it has not lost a corner, and that it snaps rather than sags when moved.
Fitting is a compartment-level job with no need to go further into the machine. The complete holder it works with is 5324, the coil that loads that holder is 5319, the locking rod is 5083 and the spring for the catch itself is 5091. Do not confuse this one with 5208, the filter safety catch, which sits in the filtration path and does a different job entirely. The distinction is worth making before ordering, since both are described as safety catches and only one of them is anywhere near the bag.
