Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 522532 is the bag adapter that carries the outer bag on Eureka and Sanitaire commercial uprights. It is the piece the bag hangs from, so it takes the weight of a loaded bag and the handling of every single change, and it quietly decides whether the bag seals against the machine or leaks around the edge of the collar.
When the bag on a machine sags away from its mount, or a line of dust runs down the housing while the bag itself is plainly intact, the adapter underneath is the more likely culprit. A crack around the mount or a rim pushed out of round lets the bag hang crooked, and a crooked bag never seals evenly across its whole collar no matter how new it is. That is worth checking before buying another bag, because a failed adapter will take a fresh bag straight down the same road as the last one.

Hold the old adapter against the replacement before fitting it, which is the quickest way to confirm you have the right part for your machine, and seat the new one fully and squarely on the machine before hanging a bag, since one sitting only partway on will let the bag drag itself loose partway through a shift.
