This OEM furniture guard in gray (Part #3699935) fits Eureka and Sanitaire uprights, including the SC679J and SL635B. The bumper guards both the vacuum and your furniture from damage as the machine works along baseboards.

Once the guard cracks or goes missing, the bare housing can scratch baseboards and furniture legs on contact. Replacing it restores the protective buffer and keeps both the surfaces and the vacuum free of scuffs.
