A 48-inch motor lead cord for Sanitaire commercial uprights, part 1623452. This is the internal lead that carries power from the switch to the motor — not the mains cord that plugs into the wall — cut and terminated to the length the machine's routing needs.
Internal leads chafe where they pass a housing edge and fatigue at the terminals, where they flex every time the handle moves. The result is a machine that cuts out intermittently, runs only when the handle is at a certain angle, or trips a breaker when a bare conductor finds the frame.
It fits the Sanitaire and Eureka SC877D, SC877E, SC886F, SC886G, SC887D, SC887E, SC888G, SC888M and SC888N. Unplug the vacuum before opening the housing, follow the original routing, and make the terminal connections up cleanly — this is mains-side wiring inside the machine.
