Eureka Tube Only - Vgii Brush Roll

Part 132363 is the bare roller core for the Eureka and Sanitaire VG II brush roll: the tube on its own, with no bristles fitted. It is the right order when the core has bent or cracked while the bristles on the old roll still have usable service life left in them.

Cores fail from impact rather than gradual wear. A tube that has been dropped, struck against a doorway, or forced while jammed can bow just enough to throw the whole roller out of round, and once that happens the bristles mounted to it never sit flush against carpet no matter how new they are. The tell is an uneven cleaning pattern across the width of the nozzle, and sometimes a visible wobble with the roll spinning free of its housing.

Spin the bare core between two fingers, or roll it across a flat surface, before anything is mounted to it. A core that wobbles or refuses to sit level even bare is bent, and no amount of careful assembly afterward will true it back up.

Ordering the core alone rather than a complete roll only makes sense when the bristles you are keeping are confirmed sound, so check their condition first if there is any doubt about which part actually failed.
