This genuine Filter Queen pigtail cord (Part #1301000501) is the 11 inch lower male cord that links your electric hose to the power head. It carries current from the hose down to the power nozzle for powered brush-roll operation.
A frayed or broken pigtail cuts power to the nozzle, so the brush roll stops turning even while the vacuum runs. A sound genuine cord restores the electrical path and returns powered agitation to the head.
