Hoover Field Bolt Washer
$6.99
Product details
Inside a Hoover motor the field is clamped in place by bolts, and each bolt seats against a washer that spreads the clamping load across the field. Part 14062 is that field bolt washer for the Hoover C1631.
Almost nobody buys it on its own. It gets replaced during a motor rebuild, when the old washer comes out bent, corroded or dished from years of heat cycling. A deformed washer lets the bolt lose torque, and a field no longer held square against the armature will buzz and vibrate, wearing the motor faster than it should.
If you are already inside the motor, fit fresh washers rather than reusing the originals. They cost almost nothing next to the labor of taking the motor apart a second time. Confirm your machine is the C1631 before ordering.
