This 2-pack of flat drive belts is the replacement set for Hoover uprights including models SH40040, SH40060, and the S3825 series. The flat belt rides between the motor shaft and the brushroll, spinning the agitator that loosens and lifts embedded dirt from carpet.
Flat belts stretch and harden with normal use, which lets the brushroll slip and slow down, leaving carpets less thoroughly cleaned.
