Hoover part 440013739 is the suction hose for the CH93619 cordless backpack vacuum, the flexible link that carries airflow from the machine on the operator's back out to the wand and tools.
Hoses fail from the inside out and from the ends in. Splits open where the hose flexes hardest, usually within a few inches of the cuffs, and they are easy to miss because the crack closes when the hose is at rest. What you notice is suction that seems fine at the machine and poor at the tool. Blockages are the other half of the story: a wad of fibre lodged in the corrugations kills airflow without any visible damage at all.
This hose fits the Hoover CH93619. Check both cuffs and flex the body along its length whenever suction drops off.
