This is the replacement suction motor for the Hoover CH93619, the black and orange commercial cordless backpack vacuum, supplied under Hoover part number 440013717.
A motor rarely quits all at once. Suction drops off first, then the machine gets loud or develops a whine, and a hot or burning smell after twenty minutes on the back is the point where most operators stop and call it in. Brushes and bearings are what wear; once they do, the fan cannot move the air the cleaning head needs. A new motor puts the airflow back where it started.
