This OEM Hoover Presto Broom geared belt (Part #440002284) fits the Hoover BH20090, BH20095, BH20100, and BH20105. The geared belt links the motor to the brush roll so the roller keeps spinning at the right speed for carpet agitation.
When a belt stretches or snaps, the brush roll stops turning and the vacuum quits picking up debris from carpet. A fresh geared belt restores proper brush-roll drive and brings agitation and pickup back to full strength.
