Recovery tank for the Hoover SmartWash, part 440012810, which is the dirty water side, where everything the machine pulls out of the carpet ends up. It fits the SmartWash, SmartWash Gen 2 and SmartWash PET: the FH52000 and FH52000G, FH52001 and FH52001G, FH52002 and FH52002G, the FH52005CDI and FH52005GCD, the FH52013, and the FH53000, FH53000PC and FH53000TV1.
The lid is not included with this tank. That is a separate part, 440012811.
Recovery tanks crack at the corners from being dropped while full, and the crack tends to be found the hard way, as a wet line across a room you have just finished. Once the tank will no longer hold vacuum, suction at the nozzle drops with it, because the tank is part of the sealed path.
