Hoover Recovery Smartwash Water Tank - FH52002

Hoover part 440014443 is the recovery tank, the dirty water tank, for the SmartWash range. It is the one that catches everything the machine pulls back out of the carpet.

Recovery tanks live a hard life. They are emptied, rinsed and dropped back on their seat after every job, and it is the latch and the lid seal that usually go first, followed by hairline cracks at the corners. A tank that no longer seals will not hold vacuum, and a machine that cannot hold vacuum leaves carpet soaked. A cracked one simply runs dirty water down the outside of the housing and across the floor you just cleaned.
