Product details

Part 4802000601 is the hose assembly Filter Queen lists for the Majestic MA961, the version fitted with the gas pump style grip.

A hose is the part of a canister vacuum that gets flexed, dragged and stepped on more than anything else, so it is usually the first place suction goes missing. A pinhole or a split anywhere along its length bleeds in air that never reaches the floor tool, which is why a machine can sound like it is running at full power and still pick up poorly. Because the leak draws air in rather than blowing dust out, there is often nothing to see until you go looking for it.

  • Part: 4802000601, hose assembly with gas pump grip
  • Fits: Filter Queen Majestic MA961
  • Function: carries airflow between the machine and the cleaning tools
  • Replace when: the hose has a visible split, feels soft along its length, or suction stays weak with clean filters and no blockage

To check a hose before replacing it, first rule out a clog by looking through it toward a light, then flex it slowly from end to end and listen for the machine's note changing as you work along it. A leak that opens up only when the hose is bent will usually announce itself that way. The ends take the most repeated bending, so start there.

Confirm your Majestic model and the grip style on your existing hose before ordering.
