This genuine OEM Kirby foot pedal is an exact-fit part for the Gen 6 (GSIX) upright. It seats at the base to switch power on and off underfoot and to shield the switch mechanism.
A worn or cracked pedal makes power control unreliable and leaves the internal hardware exposed. Replacing it promptly keeps the machine cleaning as designed and looking tidy.
